Institutional Review Board

This project requires full review by the Institutional Review Board. This is the most extensive form of review, requiring a quorum of the full membership of the board to evaluate and certify the procedures and controls in place for the project.

It also requires that the board look more closely at the potential value of results as compared to the risks for participants. This level of review is more likely to require additional documentation and correspondence between the primary investigator and the board.
