William Garris, an assistant professor of psychology. Dr. Garris received his doctorate in human development and family studies at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He also holds a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a Spanish concentration. Dr. Garris came to Tusculum College from Union College in Barbourville, Ky.
Dr. Garris was instrumental in the development of the College’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). As QEP Director, he has led the effort to inject Problem-solving with Reflective Judgment into the curriculum.
