Kathy Hipps rejoined the Tusculum staff in October 2002 as Coordinator of Special Projects in the library after working in local industry here in Greeneville. Previously, Kathy worked at Tusculum as the Competency Center manager for several years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management through the Tusculum College Professional Studies program in 1995 and her Master of Science in Information Science from University of Tennessee in 2007. In Fall of 2007 she was promoted to her present position in the library.
A native of Greene County, Mrs. Hipps is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher for the Teen Class. She enjoys her 3 grandchildren, horseback riding, gardening, and bargain hunting. She and her husband reside in Camp Creek near their son, daughter in law, 3 grandchildren and Hobie, Apple Jack and Flirt (the last 3 being horses, of course).
