Dr. Nick McGaughey comes to Tusculum as an assistant professor of accounting and finance. Previously, Dr. McGaughey worked at APPLIED Information as a managing director in Menlo Park, CA and most recently in Nashville, TN. Dr. McGaughey has provided consulting and systems integration services that have been delivered in North America, Asia and Europe.
Dr. McGaughey offers Tusculum a wealth of experience as a Certified Public Accountant in both Georgia and Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Chattanooga, a Master of Science in engineering administration from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Business Administration in accounting from Western Kentucky University, a Ph.D. in management and technology from Walden University and a Doctor of Business Administration in accounting and finance from Nova Southeastern University.
