Opportunities for international study internships highlighted in Study Abroad Fair

Students talked to representatives from international study and internship programs during the Study Abroad Fair, above, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Living Room of the Niswonger Commons at Tusculum College. Sponsored by the Center for Global Studies, the fair provided students the opportunity to learn about international study programs including the American Institute for Foreign Studies, Knowledge Exchange Institute and the Peace Corps. The event was part of the International Education Week activities on campus. Nearby the Study Abroad Fair, members of the Study Abroad and Global Awareness Club (SAGA) were demonstrating how to make sushi and inviting students to try a sampling of the oriental favorite. International Education Activities have included a showing of the documentary “Globa, belowl Awareness: Beyond Our Borders and an election party.  The sixth annual International Flag Ceremony will be held at 11:45 Thursday, also in the Living Room of the Niswonger Commons.
