DESCRIPTION

The School of Nursing at Tusculum College is seeking applications for a temporary part-time Clinical Supervisors with clinical experiences.  Applicants should be committed to student success and excellence in teaching.  Additional duties include mentoring and advising students; assisting with development and implementation of program outcomes; using program evaluation data to enhance, modify or revise the curriculum; assisting in annual assessments and preparing reports; ensuring program compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies; promoting effective relationships with clinical affiliates; and serving on College and program committees.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree with extensive nursing experience in medical, surgical, pediatrics or maternal-child nursing. Master degree is preferred with recent nursing experience. All applicants must hold a current and unencumbered license as a professional register nurse in the State of Tennessee; hold current American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare, and should successfully clear a criminal background check.
