DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program, directing of the athletic training department’s Work Study students, and performing other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. This position will require team travel (Men’s Basketball) as well as some night, weekend, and holiday hours. The opportunity exits to instruct, on an adjunct basis, in Tusculum’s CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree is required. (Master’s Degree is preferred) Qualified applicants will have NATABOC certification and Tennessee licensure (or eligible). Candidate should possess effective time management skills, the ability to handle confidential information, effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to serve as a professional role model for athletic training students.
