Tusculum College, a Presbyterian USA, liberal arts, coeducational institution of higher education located on a scenic 140-acre campus in the Great Smoky Mountains region of Greeneville, Tennessee, invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Director of Marketing. This position is responsible to the Director of Marketing and the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing for implementing the comprehensive marketing initiative for Tusculum College. This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Director of Communications and the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing and other college personnel to contribute to the attainment of various College priorities including, but not limited to: branding, enrollment, and relationship building. This position will be responsible for ensuring all campus publications are completed according to their agreed upon communications flow, coordinating and planning key events, developing the brand “voice” for the institution, and performing other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required in communication, advertising, English, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field. Graduate degree preferred. Three (3) years of related experience in marketing or related field with demonstrated success in driving the implementation of strategic marketing plans and tactics, preferably in a higher education setting. Proficient writing and editing skills, and experience in coordinating special events.
