DESCRIPTION:

The Department of Psychology at Tusculum College is seeking applications for a one-year appointment at the Assistant Professor level (with possibility of renewal) beginning August 2014. This position will involve teaching a wide variety of courses in all department concentrations (Applied, General-Experimental, and Behavioral Health) and travel to any of our four campus locations (Greeneville, Knoxville, Morristown, and Tri-Cities). Other duties include advising students, mentoring student research, and service on college committees. Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, a commitment to student success, and the potential to develop a program of research that can involve students.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Psychology in hand by August 2014. Although the area of specialization is open, applicants with graduate-level coursework in Clinical and/or Counseling Psychology will receive preference.
