DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum College is taking applications for Facilities Management I.  This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining College buildings and grounds and may be required to walk extended distances and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.

Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management Comments Off

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum College, a Presbyterian USA, liberal arts, coeducational institution of higher education located on a scenic 140-acre campus in the Great Smoky Mountains region of Greeneville, Tennessee, invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management. This position manages the College-wide student recruitment program for residential and graduate and professional studies programs. The Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management provides oversight to all recruitment staff, admission processing and communication, and marketing and branding of the College, and will promote the mission of Tusculum College to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required in business, communication, advertising, English, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field. Graduate degree preferred. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in higher education recruitment of residential, graduate and professional studies and online student populations. Proven success in enrollment management and marketing to prospective students, as well as partnership with Academics to develop new and engaging programs with career outcomes for all existing and prospective student populations.

DESCRIPTION:

The School of Nursing at Tusculum College is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. Applicants should be committed to student success and excellence in teaching. Additional duties include mentoring and advising students; assisting with development and implementation of program outcomes; using program evaluation data to enhance, modify or revise the curriculum; assisting in annual assessments and preparing reports; ensuring program compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies; promoting effective relationships with clinical affiliates; and serving on College and/or program committees. Faculty is expected to engage in and contribute toward the good of the College and its community through the maintenance of expertise in the Discipline and by sharing time and talents with the larger College community.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Applicants should have earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university. Applicants should hold a current and unencumbered license, or be eligible for licensure, as a professional registered nurse in the State of Tennessee; hold current American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers, and successfully clear criminal background and drug screening assessments.

Preferred:  Preferred  qualifications are an earned doctorate degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution, master’s degree in nursing with three years full-time college teaching experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching and student success, and experience with regional and programmatic accreditation.   Applicants currently enrolled in doctoral program will be considered.

Graduate & Professional Studies Adjunct Faculty (No Comments)

The Graduate and Professional Studies program of Tusculum College seeks qualified adjunct faculty for the following teaching positions listed below.  GPS offers non-traditional, accelerated, adult-oriented classes. Most classes meet once a week for six weeks and are offered in the evening or on the weekends in upper East Tennessee.  Prior experience with adult students is preferred as well as experience teaching web-enhanced courses using an on-line course delivery system. 

Master of Arts in Education Programs –  Early Childhood Education – Terminal degree and emphasis in early childhood education.  Additional qualifications of special education and teaching of young children with special needs is preferred.

Master of Arts in Education Programs - Organizational Training and Education and Human Resource Development Concentrations – Terminal degree with demonstrated professional accomplishments in the instructional systems design (ISD) functions are required.  Teach six week courses in Analysis of Instructional Needs and Performance Gap Analysis, Instructional Design, Evaluation of Adult Learning, Instructional Materials and Media.  

Master of Arts in Education Programs –  Curriculum & Instruction and MAT – Terminal degree and at least 18 graduate hours in Education, Special Education, Reading, English, Science, Math or Art and experience in an Elementary or Secondary Education classroom.
