The Office of Admission is currently seeking three telecounseling positions to work evenings 16-20 hours per week. The primary responsibility is to represent Tusculum by contacting prospective students of the College to educate them about scholarship opportunities and other important aspects of the admission process. This position requires the individual to sit for long periods at a time and wear a headset. The hours are Monday –Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, occasional weekend work may be required. The starting date is projected for October 1, 2014.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
The candidate for this position should have previous office experience and strong data-entry skills with the ability to multi-task. Articulate oral communications skills and customer service skills are mandatory. Candidate must be able to successfully complete phone calls wearing a headset, have good recordkeeping and organizations skills, and advanced knowledge of computer programs and software. Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, and be detail oriented. The position requires an individual who has a high level of energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork.
