Cody C. Greene has been named associate director of advancement services for Tusculum College. He began his new position on July 18.
Greene, who is a 2008 alumnus of Tusculum College and has been with the College since graduation, has worked in a variety of positions in the Office of Institutional Advancement, including his most recent position of coordinator of the Tusculum Fund.
In his new position, Greene will be responsible for gift recording and acknowledgement, as well as data management and reporting. He will report to Heather Patchett, vice president of institutional advancement.
In addition, Greene will be responsible for donor stewardship, management and regulatory reporting, and he will serve as manager of the office’s database. He will also provide support to the finance office and the vice president of finance.

“Over the years Cody Greene has been a dedicated employee of Tusculum College, working with our development and alumni programs,” said Patchett. “With his aptitude for our software programs and knowledge of our processes, he will continue to be an asset to our department and others at the College.”
During his tenure at Tusculum, Greene was responsible for the creation and implementation of the Student Alumni Association’s Pioneers Mentoring Program. The successful program has been widely recognized and has grown to include a partnership with all third grade students at Hal Henard Elementary School.
He has also led the annual Senior Class Gift Campaign and worked closely with the Pioneer Club and its efforts to support the student-athletes and their programs.
Greene earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Tusculum and is currently working on his master’s degree in business administration at Milligan College.
“I look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow and increase my skills and knowledge in the field of advancement,” said Greene. “As associate director of advancement services, I have the opportunity to implement programs that will make our operations more efficient and effective for the staff and for our constituents.”
