Tusculum to host first fall open house Thursday, Sept. 4

Tusculum College is offering  high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn about college life and options available to them in continuing their education during open houses Sept. 4, Sept. 20 and Nov. 1.

The first open house will be Thursday, Sept. 4, and will include presentations on financial aid and the admission process. The event will also include a faculty fair, in which high school students can explore the academic majors offered at Tusculum and meet with professors. A tour of campus will also be provided.

Registration for the open house will begin at 3 p.m. Following the scheduled activities, participants will be guests at a tailgate with live music, food and other fun activities, and enjoy the opening home game for the Tusculum Pioneer football team.

Saturday, Sept. 20, is the date for the second open house. This event will also include presentations about financial aid and the admission process, the faculty fair and campus tour. In addition, this open house will include a parent and student panel, which will allow participants to ask specific questions. Registration for the open house will begin at 2 p.m. Participants will be invited to enjoy the football tailgate that evening prior to the Pioneers’ second home game.

The third open house in the fall will be Saturday, Nov. 1. The open house agenda will be the same as the one for Sept. 20. Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with participants invited to attend the football tailgate and the following game, which will be Senior Day for the team.

The open houses are for high school junior and seniors only.
