Wayne Lee to share success strategies with high jinks and hypnosis at Aug. 29 event

Wayne Lee

If there is one statement upon which peak performance experts like Wayne Lee can agree, it is that the mind is capable of leading an individual anywhere.

Lee, a motivational speaker and hypnotist, will be coming to Tusculum College on Monday, Aug. 29, to share how individuals can set what he calls the GPS (Great Programmable Subconscious) for success. Lee’s presentation, “Set Your GPS for Success,” will be at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Annie Hogan Byrd Fine Arts Building on the Tusculum campus.

“Set Your GPS for Success” is a riveting, highly interactive and often hilarious presentation that shares three simple steps individuals can use to mentally program themselves to perform at their best and create more success personally and professionally.

Lee also shares how people can overcome fear and self doubt, master their emotional state regardless of the circumstances and replace bad habits with successful behaviors.

As a child, Lee was fascinated with magic and visualization, which helped fuel what has become a passion for entertaining and empowering people. As one of North America’s premier corporate presenters, he is a veteran of thousands of successful shows, a published author and peak performance coach to professionals of all walks of life.

He also practices what he preaches. Lee is a former five-time Canadian amateur wrestling champion who served as a beloved classroom instructor before taking to the stage. He was also recently named “Entertainer of the Year” for the Canadian Events Industry.

Lee’s presentation is the first event in Tusculum College Art Outreach’s Acts, Arts, Academia 2011-12 performance and lecture series. The series is supported by the late Dr. Sam Miller in memory of Agnes Ault Miller, Arts Outreach, Society of Cicero, Hearts for the Arts, the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment of the Arts.

Tickets for the presentation are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60 years of age and over) and $5 for children 12 years of age and under.
