DESCRIPTION:
The Social Sciences Department at Tusculum University invites applicants for, depending on credentials, an instructor or assistant professor position in Sociology for classes offered online and/or on our residential campus. Teaching assignments to include introductory and advance classes in the discipline. Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of diverse learners; demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion and the creation of culturally-responsive learning environments; and exhibit a mastery of their specific discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Sociology or other relevant field. Candidates must have a mastery of technological competencies and teaching and advising strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies. Terminal degree and teaching experience strongly preferred.
