Additional opportunities available to sponsor, entertain and serve as vendors at Old Oak Festival

GREENEVILLE – As organizers of the Old Oak Festival continue preparing for this year’s event, they have lined up high-quality entertainment and a bevy of other activities that will continue the tradition of fun for attendees.

The three-day festival, scheduled for April 12-14, still has openings for individuals and organizations to sponsor, perform and provide vendor services. Organizers are issuing a call for any others that want to participate in this family-friendly event.

The festival will be held on the grounds of Tusculum University’s Greeneville campus. The popular event features musicians, homemade crafts vendors, food vendors and activities at the President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library and the Doak House Museum.

Another popular and distinctive component of the festival is author’s row, which provides an enjoyable opportunity for stimulating one-on-one conversations with local authors. Children are also a major focus at the Old Oak, with the Kids Corner, rock painting and face painting.

“The Old Oak Festival is a beloved Tusculum tradition that attracts a cross-section of the campus family as well as members of the community,” said Nicole Rader, alumni engagement director. “Sponsors have enhanced the caliber of the festival and demonstrated a special bond with the community by assisting with festival expenses. Vendors and entertainers have also provided a first-class ambiance that has allowed them to connect with attendees in meaningful ways. We now invite others to join us as we build on our history of success.”
