Tusculum Jazz Band to perform lively Christmas concert at Annie Hogan Byrd

GREENEVILLE – The Tusculum University Jazz Band will spread holiday cheer during its annual Christmas concert Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Annie Hogan Byrd Fine Arts Center Theatre.

The band will take the stage at 7 p.m. and play a selection of Christmas favorites that will appeal to audience members of all ages. Among the numbers the band will perform are:

  • “The First Noel,” arranged by Bob Curnow
  • “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow,” arranged by Mike Lewis
  • “Away in a Manger,” arranged by Paul Clark
  • “O Holy Night,” arranged by Clark
  • “Silent Night,” arranged by Rich DeRosa
  • “Feliz Navidad,” arranged by Victor Lopez
  • “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” arranged by John Berry

The concert is free.

“The Christmas season is a joyful time of year, and the band welcomes the opportunity to spread more cheer with an entertaining concert,” said David Price, the band’s director. “We encourage everyone to join us for this wonderful occasion.”
