The event, Together We Can, will be held from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 13, on the Greeneville campus. The event was designed for schools directors, principals, counselors as well as career and technical education teachers and directors to come to Tennessee’s first higher education institution for an exchange of ideas.

About 50 educators are scheduled to attend.

“Tusculum values its relationships with educators throughout Northeast Tennessee, and this event will give all of us an opportunity to examine how we can help students in the region,” said Dr. Ramona Williams, the university’s vice president of enrollment management and financial aid. “All of us share the same passion – students – and Tusculum welcomes input from those who are working with them in local schools. This partnership will enhance the quality of education.”

During the event, Tusculum will share details about the Pioneer 100, which provides free tuition to any student who is fully Pell grant and HOPE scholarship eligible. The university will also discuss Pioneer Academy, which will launch in the fall semester and incorporate exciting initiatives for dual enrollment students.

In addition, Together We Can will highlight other new initiatives and partnership opportunities.
