There is quite a bit of excitement on campus as the construction of the Dr. Ronald H. and Verna June Meen Center for Science and Mathematics is well underway!<\/p>\n

At this point most of the foundations are in place and work is underway preparing for site utilities. The sewer connection has been made to existing service. The most visible element at this point is the block construction of the first of two elevators. Additionally, the steel package has been ordered and is scheduled to arrive in July.<\/p>\n

According to David Martin, director of facilities, the project is on schedule and going well so far. If you are interested in watching construction progress for the Meen Center for Science and Math, you may do so via web cam feed on the Tusculum website http:\/\/my.tusculum.edu\/cam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Work on the building began in early May. The projected date of completion is September 27, 2016.<\/p>\n
