Tusculum College Trustees Dr. Ed Kormondy, left, and Dr. Angelo Volpe are both providing presidential leadership for the College, on an alternating basis, as the College begins the process of seeking an interim president.<\/p>\n
Dr. Kormondy, a 1950 Tusculum College graduate who was a university president in the University of Hawaii system, arrived at Tusculum on Monday, which was the last full day of service for Dr. Volpe during the month of June. Dr. Volpe is president emeritus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.<\/p>\n
Both “acting presidents” took part in greeting new students and their families during the Advance Registration taking place that day.<\/p>\n
In three Advance Registration days held so far this summer, Tusculum College has registered about 150 students. Two more Advance Registration days will be hosted by the College on July 23 and 27. Classes begin Aug. 20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
