COLORS & TYPEFACE
The official colors of Tusculum College are orange and black. The exact shades for printing purposes are Orange PMS 158 and reference black.
The official typeface for the Tusculum College logo is La Gioconda SC TT. For printed material content, such as letters, memos and announcements, Times New Roman is the preferred typeface. The recommended size for these printed materials is 12pt. The creation and use of “look-a-like” logos is discouraged.
The orange ribbon within the ‘Tusculum’ wordmark is #f07622 (RGB 240, 118, 34).
On this Web site, the HTML color codes of #f48022 (RGB 244, 128, 34) and #000000 (RGB 0, 0, 0) are used. In addition, the HTML color code #666666 (RGB 102, 102, 102) is used for some borders and accents as well as #999999 (RGB 153, 153, 153).
The primary typeface for online material is “Open Sans, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”, which is used for the majority of the content and all news stories and program descriptions.
