Institutional Advancement Web pages more user-friendly for alumni and other visitors

iascreenThe Institutional Advancement Web pages of the Tusculum College Web site have been redesigned and are now live. The new design makes for a more user-friendly interface for alumni, parents and other friends of the College who access the various sections of these pages. The new site can be visited here. The Web page is a reflection of the structure of the offices within Institutional Advancement.

The attractive new Web site provides sections for alumni and parents, as well as information on programs such as the Pioneer Club, scholarships and planned giving. In addition, the Department of College Communications site within Institutional Advancement has been redesigned and provides the most up-to-date information and the latest issue of the Tusculum Magazine.

The updated design, which was created and developed by Tusculum College Webmaster Travis Crabtree, provides correlation with the existing structure of Institutional Advancement, which is comprised of the Office of Development, College Communications and Alumni and Parent Relations. The site has a more streamline look and is much more compatible with the overall College Web site, said Susan D. Vance ’91, interim vice president of Institutional Advancement.

“The new pages have a better look and make it easier to find the information you need,” said Vance.  “The news and features are crisp and clear and the section heads make it easy to find particular programs. We will also be able to continue providing the option of online giving.”

“Visitors to our sections of the Web page are often there for very different reasons,” said Vance. “With the new design, it is easy to find the information you need or the person you need to contact without sacrificing an attractive design. I hope our alumni, parents and friends will take advantage of this resource and make it a regular stop when spending time online.”

One addition to the site is that fundraising/solicitation policy information and forms are now available online.

“This is an opportunity to reiterate our fund-raising policy for staff, faculty and students,” said Vance.  “All fund-raising activities must be approved by the Advancement office and a solicitation form must be completed and on file with our office, prior to conducting a fundraiser or solicitation of goods or services. Having request form available online will certainly be more convenient for many.”

Solicitation forms can be found on this page.
