Students who will be graduating in May had the opportunity to get prepared for the milestone during a Grad Finale held Feb. 19 on the Greeneville campus.
Grad Finales are events to allow upcoming graduates to take care of their preparations for the milestone at one location. Students can order their caps and gowns, order invitations, take care of any outstanding issues with the Business or Financial Aid offices, as well as enjoy fellowship with their fellow students over light refreshments.
Graduation ceremonies will be on Saturday, May 9, and prospective graduates will be getting more information about the ceremonies in the coming weeks, including how to make arrangements for family members who may need special seating and times for the ceremonies. May’s commencement will the be third in which two ceremonies will be held, a change that was made to provide ample seating for graduates’ family and friends. The ceremony for the Residential College graduates has typically been held in the afternoon.
