Do you have a couple of hours to spare here and there from November 7 through December 19? Would you like to spend time with adorable elementary school students reading them a story or helping them with a craft? If so, please contact Leah Walker at the Doak House Museum by email lwalker@tusculum.edu or call 423-636-8554.

We already have more than 800 children booked for this program and the need for volunteer help is enormous. We couldn’t do this program without the kind helpers who give of their time and energy!

Orientation meetings for volunteers will be Wednesday, October 19, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. You only need attend one of those meetings, your choice. RSVPs are appreciated.

Last year we asked the Tusculum College community for volunteers for Storytelling and Gingerbread and the response was tremendous! We are issuing the call to action again this year. Not sure if this is for you? Give us a call or send us an email to learn more about this fun opportunity to give back to the school children of Northeast Tennessee.
