Tusculum picked 20th in the country in website’s list of 2020 Best Business Management Schools

GREENEVILLE – Further demonstrating the caliber of education its students receive, the College of Business at Tusculum University has earned another ranking from a national website that places it among the country’s elite.

Recently, study.com picked Tusculum 20th in a listing of the 2020 Best Business Management Schools in the United States. The website based its selection of the top 50 programs on affordability, education quality and services offered to business management students.

Study.com also used information from the U.S. Department of Education, such as tuition, graduation rates and retention rates. In addition, the website evaluated information provided by schools, including programs and services available to students.

“Our College of Business provides an excellent foundation for students to achieve in the classroom and their chosen careers,” said Dr. Jacob Fait, the dean. “Faculty members are committed to developing a curriculum that engages students and is applicable to modern-day business practices. With our small class sizes and expert faculty, Tusculum provides an optimal experience for our students to develop their skills and become civically engaged within a Judeo-Christian environment.”

Tusculum offers a Bachelor of Science in business administration with six concentrations, including management. This concentration emphasizes a generalist approach to studying the dynamic environment of business. It gives students a broad understanding of that profession and the ability to be nimble as new ideas and approaches emerge.

The university also developed a management minor, which provides students the ability to apply business principles in their chosen career path, offers them more job options and makes them more marketable.

“The College of Business has over 15 top-notch faculty and staff members dedicated to helping its students succeed in their academic journey,” study.com said in its analysis of Tusculum. “Students will also have the opportunity to take part in internships and participate in service projects that will help them to build an impressive resume.”

The College of Business, which also offers a successful Pioneer Master of Business Administration, has received high marks from many organizations. Earlier this year, study.com named Tusculum to its Top 50 Business Schools list, and in 2019, the website picked Tusculum 21st in the country in its Best Online Business Degree Programs list.

College Consensus, another U.S. website, ranked Tusculum seventh among the 25 best online MBA programs in the United States that do not require a Graduate Management Admissions Test score as part of the application process. The website MBA Central placed the MBA program seventh among the 15 Best Tennessee Online MBA programs.
