TUSCULUM NEWS & INFORMATION

Several visitors to the College Fair held at Tusculum College on Thursday visited the Tusculum College booth to speak with, from left, Kristen Dalton, office manager and senior financial aid counselor; Kimberley Bublat, assistant financial aid counselor, and Melissa Ripley, director of operations and marketing for the College’s Admission Office. According to Ripley there were approximately 100 students and parents who attended the event, which in addition to Tusculum College, included 20 higher education institutions from Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia. “We were very pleased with the event,” said Ripley. The goal of the College Fair is to expose local students and their families with colleges and universities in the area and to provide financial aid and scholarship information. “Particularly in this perceived economic climate, parents and students are in need of the latest financial information that will help them be able to provide a college education for their children.” The College Fair was sponsored by Tusculum College and was an official event on the Tennessee Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers calendar.
