Brief Job Description:
- Under the guidance of the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the incumbent will be responsible for representing Tusculum University in all facets of recruiting, admissions and engagement of prospective students for our Graduate & Adult Online Studies degree programs.
- The Assistant Director of Graduate & Adult Online Studies Admissions recruits qualified students for admission to the school in accordance with applicable internal and external policies and regulations
- Develops, leads, and participates in recruitment and enrollment events and activities for increased brand awareness and in support of delivering a best-in-class full student lifecycle
- Travels occasionally to graduate fairs, conferences, colleges, school districts, and businesses & organizations to attract prospective applicants to graduate programs
- Makes prompt and effective contact with prospects, inquiries, applicants, admitted and deposited students
- Provides training and support to the Graduate Enrollment Counselor and Undergraduate Adult & Online Studies Counselor
- Assists other personnel and departments with data collection
Experiences & Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree required
- At least one year of professional admissions experience working in higher education (preference in graduate and/or continuing education recruitment)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Working knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform used in higher education, preferably Slate by Technolutions
- Effectively articulate our programs’ value proposition
- Excellent leadership skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
