Admissions Coordinator

The Admissions Coordinator reports to the Director of Admissions Operations and will work closely with the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid to enhance the productivity of the admission team as well as increase the overall experience of the potential student and their family members while engaged in the enrollment cycle. The Admissions Coordinator will oversee a team of student workers responsible for large scale campus tours, the planning and execution of on campus student experiences and daily tasks and responsibilities that frequently distract the enrollment team from their primary goal. The Admissions Coordinator will collaborate with marketing and assist with the promotion of Tusculum University with the goal of driving new students engagement and enrollment as well as the university’s events and academic programs. The Admissions Coordinator will also be responsible for the coordination of the use of the TU Suburban, the Admission’s golf cart, the whereabouts of keys and the maintenance of the TU supply closet. The Admissions Coordinator will also be the main phone operator for the admissions department, answering questions and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff member each day.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Answers phones and routes calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Works with the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid and members of the University to publicize and promote Tusculum University’s Academic programs and community events.
  • Organizes student experience events and staffs and manages events with student workers.
  • Represents the university to outside constituents interested in large scale campus tours and events.
  • Plans, staffs and executes large scale campus tours and events.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the TU Suburban, the admissions golf cart, the admissions supply closet and all keys pertaining to the vehicles and office spaces in admissions.
  • Maintains open communication cross-departmentally and in the collegiate manner.
  • Demonstrate commitment and dedication of Tusculum University, its mission, programs and future aspirations of the University.
  • Promote the mission of Tusculum University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large.
  • Follow University and other related administrative policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions Operations.

Enrollment Representative

Tusculum University invites applications for the position of Enrollment Representative (Traditional). Tusculum is seeking a dynamic professional to support recruitment and enrollment efforts for traditional undergraduate students, including both athletes and non-athletes.

The Enrollment Representative is responsible for organizing and implementing recruitment strategies that generate prospective student interest and lead to enrollment. This includes working with high school students, dual enrollment students, and transfer populations. Recruitment activities will occur through a variety of outreach efforts such as high school visits, community college visits, college fairs, corporate and community partnerships, and other events designed to promote Tusculum University. The position requires the ability to represent the institution professionally, develop positive relationships, and effectively communicate admission processes, procedures, and requirements.

Extensive local and regional travel is required, including overnight stays, particularly during peak recruitment periods in the fall and spring. The Enrollment Representative will also participate in orientations and recruitment events, perform unofficial transcript evaluations, and maintain accurate travel logs, expense reports, and contact history in the university’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. Evening and weekend hours are required to support recruitment activities and events.

Account Receivable Manager for Special Programs

Oversees active student billing, reporting collections, and cashiering for special programs (Woolf and symposia programs).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting preferred
  • 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Manages the billing and collection of all tuition, room, board, and fees for special programs.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Tusculum University is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. The successful candidate will serve as athletic training services provider for one or more NCAA Division II athletic teams (Women’s Lacrosse & Women’s Soccer OR Softball & Football). Team travel as well as night, weekend, and holiday work will be required.

The role combines program leadership and faculty responsibilities. This is a 12-month contract and open to remote work arrangements.

Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management/Program Director of the MS in Supply Chain Management

Tusculum University is excited to announce a new Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program that will directly serve the workforce and economic needs of East Tennessee and the surrounding region. Supply chain management is one of the fastest-growing career fields in Tennessee and nationally, with strong job growth, competitive salaries, and a critical need for graduate-level training. This program will emphasize hands-on, experiential learning and partnerships with business and industry, preparing graduates to step immediately into leadership roles.

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management / Program Director to launch and lead this new program beginning in Spring 2026. Financial Aid Administrator

BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Aid Administrator effectively counsels students and parents on all aspects of financial aid. Represents the University and the financial aid office at special events on and off campus. Coordinates the student employment program. Manages scholarships, awards, and packages financial aid according to regulations and policy. Performs the day-to-day financial aid processes in coordination with other campus departments while maintaining mandatory compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal guidelines and laws.  This position works with prospective and current students, as well as parents and families, and provides exceptional customer service. This position will work with Wolf recruited students to manage the awarding, monitoring, and disbursement of financial aid.

This position requires attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, effective oral, listening, and written communication skills, and works closely with other campus offices, including Admissions, Business Office, Registrar, and Athletics.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor degree required and 1 year of experience in the administration of Title IV aid, however an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in higher education can be substituted.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviews and verifies students’ financial aid status to determine eligibility;
  • Resolves conflicting information related to eligibility for all types of aid;
  • Records and documents all customer service transactions and award-related decisions;
  • Reviews reports generated from daily transmittal operations to assess and analyzes issues such as improper award amounts, and eligibility issues; takes a proactive approach to correct the issues, working closely with the Directors.
