Master’s degree required with earned educational credentials in one or more of the following disciplines preferred; student life, college student personnel, higher educational administration, counseling or related field.  Experience with residence hall management and student supervision necessary.  Strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution experience a must.  Experience working with underrepresented and/or minority student populations helpful.

Admissions Representative

Tusculum University has an exciting opportunity for an enrollment representative. The enrollment representative will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies for assigned territories, generating interest, inquiries, applications and deposits that lead to achieving enrollment goals.  Reporting to the Director of Admissions, enrollment representatives organize and execute daily, weekly and long term activities leading to enrollment for a variety of student populations including high school students, dual enrollment students, adult students and graduate students.  Recruitment activities occur at local and regional events such as corporate partnership meetings, college fairs, high school visits, community college visits and other community activities to generate interest in the assigned territory.  Local and regional presentations are scheduled to provide information to prospective student groups to explain admissions processes, procedures and other requirements for enrollment.  Travel will be required to local schools, businesses, career fairs, and other locations primarily in Tennessee but include travel to the surrounding region.  Please note that overnight travel is necessary especially during high recruitment periods in the fall and spring. Greene County/Dual Enrollment Coordinator

Tusculum University is seeking qualified applicants for a Greene County/Dual Enrollment Coordinator.  This position reports to the Executive Director of Admissions and is responsible for developing recruitment strategies for our primary county, Greene County. They will act as the community liaison for incoming college freshmen, transfer students and adult learners. This position will also focus heavily on dual enrollment. Tusculum University is seeking qualified applicants for a Communications Manager.  This position reports to the Director of Admissions Operations and is responsible for communication flow, both established and targeted communications to potential Tusculum University students. This includes managing the communications portion in the current CRM (customer relations manager), as communication types include but not limited to bulk mailing such as post cards, packets, and letters, as well as daily mail and bulk text. Upward Bound Cocke/Hawkins Associate Director

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is seeking qualified applicants for Associate Director of Upward Bound Cocke/Hawkins. This 12-month, full-time position will report to the Director of TRIO Programs and requires some evening and weekend work. The Associate Director recruits and serves first-generation and low-income high school students in Cocke County and Hawkins County TN. The Associate Director manages the daily operation of the program including oversight of staff as well as recruitment of participants and facilitation of program activities including but not limited to tutoring, college readiness services, field trips, cultural enrichment events, and an immersive six-week summer program. Candidates for this position must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet program participants’ needs.

The Upward Bound Cocke/Hawkins Associate Director is additionally responsible for collecting, maintaining, and reporting student outcomes data in accordance with Department of Education guidelines for federal TRIO Programs. Upward Bound Academic Advisor

DESCRIPTION

Tusculum University is seeking qualified applicants for Upward bound Academic Advisor serving 9th-12th grade students in surrounding Greene, Hamblen, Washington and Unicoi counties. This 12-month, full-time position reports to the Associate Director of Upward Bound and requires some evening and weekend work. The Academic Advisor provides educational and career guidance to high school students as part of the university’s Upward Bound program which is  designed to encourage high school and college completion. Facilities Management IV

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is accepting applications for a Facilities Management IV.  This position reports to the Director of Facilities Management.  The successful applicant will have HVAC experience, with HVAC certification a plus.  Preference will be given to the candidate possessing knowledge and experience in several other specialty areas, including electrical plumbing, master carpentry, masonry or other maintenance and construction skilled work on athletic facilities, University building and fixtures, including administrative buildings, staff and residential housing, and other institutional buildings for efficient operations.  Duties include inspecting, performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, repairing, overhauling, new installations and fitting with specialty areas and assist in all other areas.

Campus Safety Officer – Part-time

DESCRIPTION
Tusculum University is seeking applications for part-time Campus Safety Officers. Responsibilities include working to assure safety and welfare of students, staff, faculty, invitees, and visitors on campus property, in campus facilities, and at institutional events by enforcing campus policies and regulations as set forth by the College. The position will serve as the primary emergency response personnel and information contact for the campus. Works with other professional staff assigned to Campus Safety program during shift and liaises with the other campus entities having a role in campus management (e.g. student life, facilities management, technical support, etc.). Support educational outreach in the areas of safety and welfare.
