Enrollment Representative for Adult and Online Programs – Knoxville Center

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum College is seeking applications for an Enrollment Representative at the Knoxville Center. This position is responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing recruitment strategies that generate prospect and lead pools for assigned programs. Aggressively recruits for the adult degree completion, online, and graduate programs to prospective students from interest through enrollment. Assistant/Associate Professor of Teacher Education

This is a full-time faculty generalist position with responsibilities in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the College of Education’s Teacher Education Department, service to the University and community, and scholarly/professional development. Graduate and undergraduate education courses include content area reading, classroom management and discipline, planning instruction, public school law, leadership development, and designing developmentally appropriate practices. Assistant Athletic Trainer

Tusculum is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time position with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. DESCRIPTION:

The School of Nursing, Health Sciences and Human Services at Tusculum College is seeking applications for a full-time nursing faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program beginning August 2018. Applicants should be committed to student success and excellence in teaching. Additional duties include mentoring and advising students; assisting with development and implementation of program outcomes; using program evaluation data to enhance, modify or revise curriculum; promoting effective relationships with clinical affiliates; and serving on College and program committees. Faculty is expected to engage in and contribute toward the good of the College and its community through the maintenance of expertise in the discipline and by sharing time and talents with the larger College community. Salary will commensurate with education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Nursing Preferred: Preferred qualifications are an earned doctorate degree in Nursing, or a related field, from an accredited institution, three years full-time college teaching experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching and student success, teaching experience with online and hybrid classes, and experience with regional and programmatic accreditation. If applicant holds a doctorate in related field, master’s degree must be in nursing.

Nursing Minimum: Minimum qualifications are an earned Master’s Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in nursing from an accredited college or university. Applicants should hold a current and unencumbered registered nurse license, or be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee; hold current AHA BLS certification, and should successfully clear a criminal background check and drug screening assessments. If applicants hold a master’s degree in nursing, he/she should be willing to continue their education by earning a doctorate in nursing.

Assistant or Associate Professor of the Athletic Training Education Program

Tusculum College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of the Athletic Training/Athletic trainer. This is a full-time faculty position with primary responsibilities in teaching athletic training courses and providing athletic trainer duties in the athletic department; service to the College and community; and scholarly/professional development.  Additional responsibilities include academic instruction/supervision of athletic training students and assisting the program director in maintaining compliance with CAATE accreditation standards and providing athletic training duties for athletic.  Faculty members are to be committed to excellence in teaching. Most classes meet once a week for eight weeks and are offered in the evening or on the weekends in upper East Tennessee.  Prior experience with adult students is preferred as well as experience teaching web-enhanced courses using an on-line course delivery system. 

Master of Arts in Education Programs –  Curriculum & Instruction and MAT – Terminal degree and at least 18 graduate hours in Education, Special Education, Reading, English, Science, Math or Art and experience in an Elementary or Secondary Education classroom.
