Tusculum University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Political Science for the Spring 2026 semester. Located in the foothills of the Southern Appalachian mountains, Tusculum provides the successful applicant the opportunity to foster experiential learning in a meaningful way. Over 50% of entering undergraduate students are considered first-generation students, and the close-knit community of Tusculum University provides a springboard for these students to succeed and thrive. Our faculty have the rewarding opportunity to pour into those students’ lives and help educate the next generation of leaders for East Tennessee and beyond.
Tusculum faculty are responsible for teaching a minimum of 12-15 credits (pending rank) in each of the fall and spring semesters, advising, service, scholarship, and professional development. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
A master’s degree, J.D., or doctorate in Political Science or Law is required; teaching experience with undergraduates is preferred. An ability to work with learners of all levels of preparedness is required.

Facilities Management Level IV

Tusculum University is seeking applicants for our Facilities Management team. The qualified applicant should be licensed in one or several specialty areas, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, master carpentry, masonry, or other maintenance and construction skilled work on university buildings and fixtures for administrative buildings, athletic facilities, staff housing, residential housing, and other institutional buildings, to ensure efficient operations. Employees will be responsible for inspecting, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, repairing, overhauling, performing new installations, and refitting within the specialty area and could be asked to assist in other areas as needed.

Facilities Management Level 1- 040125

The Facilities Management Team at Tusculum University is seeking applicants for a housekeeping staff member. The level 1 housekeeper is responsible for maintaining assigned buildings and grounds of administrative buildings, athletic facilities, staff housing, residential housing, and other institutional buildings in a clean, efficient, safe, and orderly fashion as designated by the supervisors. Work typically includes, but is not limited to, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and other light cleaning duties.
