Admissions Processing Clerk

Tusculum University is seeking applicants for our Admissions Department. The Admissions Processing Clerk is responsible for completing applicant files, making it possible for proper admission decisions to be made. File completion includes building physical files and extensive data entry work. The desired candidate will have excellent attention to detail to ensure the timely processing of application documents and submission of completed files for review. The candidate will provide counseling to families and students about admission status and needed documents and handle confidential material in a professional manner at all times.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Graphic Designer

Tusculum University, situated in the beautiful foothills of East Tennessee, is seeking applicants for a Graphic Designer. Through collaboration with other members of the Communication and Marketing team, the graphic designer will be responsible for brand continuity across all media platforms, developing well-defined graphic identities for a variety of marketing, branding, and advertising initiatives and campaigns, and ensuring compliance with the Brand Guidelines by internal and external stakeholders. Campus Safety Officer – Full-time 110124

Tusculum University is seeking applications for full-time Campus Safety Officers. Responsibilities include working to assure the safety and welfare of students, staff, faculty, invitees, and visitors on campus property, in campus facilities, and at institutional events by enforcing campus policies and regulations set forth by the College. The position will serve as the campus’s primary emergency response personnel and information contact. Works with other professional staff assigned to the Campus Safety program during shift and liaises with the other campus entities having a role in campus management (e.g., student life, facilities management, technical support, etc.). Support educational outreach in the areas of safety and welfare.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to carry out said job duties
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license required

• Previous security experience or related guard, police officer, or military background preferred.

Chief of Campus Safety

Tusculum University is seeking applicants for Chief of Campus Safety on the beautiful Greeneville, Tennessee Campus. The Chief of Campus Safety plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates all campus safety activities to ensure compliance with all certification requirements’ promotes adherence to all college policies and procedures, and establishes a foundation for the accountability necessary to assure the safety of students, staff, faculty, invitees, and visitors on campus property, in campus facilities, and at institutional events, by enforcing campus policies and regulations as set forth by the University. Promulgates rules and regulations for the department to achieve these expectations. Coordinates and administers daily operational activities directly and through commissioned safety officers and appropriate delegations to training officers. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, maintain working relationships, and liaise with local law enforcement, fire departments, and health emergency agencies.

Assistant to the Provost/Manager of Support Services- 1132025

Tusculum University, Tennessee’s oldest university, seeks to fill a dual-reporting role with the employee’s time being split between the office of the Provost and the Office of Institutional Advancement. This is a professional, full-time position that will be largely project-based. The employee can expect to be involved in a variety of projects, including, but not limited to, schedule management, budget preparations, coordinating correspondence between the Provost and internal and external constituents, assisting the Provost on projects relating to accreditation and budgeting, and planning and executing special events (e.g., Commencement); perform the gift management process in the Office of Institutional Advancement, including but not limited to the maintenance and upkeep of records on the Raiser’s Edge database, gift acceptance and entry, preparing reports, conducting prospect research, and performing the prospect management process while working closely with fellow staff members, the Office of the President, and the CFO/Vice President of Finance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field); Master’s preferred
  • Experience in database management
  • Fundraising or sales experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting

Facilities Management II – Grounds 072324

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is accepting applications for (2) part-time Facilities Management positions. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining university grounds, athletic fields and facilities, administrative buildings, staff and residential housing, and other institutional buildings. Candidates must be able to walk extended distances and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid Driver’s License and have a minimum of two years experience.
