Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach

Tusculum University is a member of the NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach. This is a full-time position with benefits.  The position will plan workouts, instruct distance workouts, sprints workouts, running technique skills to student-athletes while providing strength & conditioning to the team. The assistant will also serve in the capacity of active student-athlete recruiter and summer track and field camp coordinator with men’s and women’s track & field. Intern Athletic Trainer

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is seeking applicant for multiple Athletic Training Internship position. This positions is designed to support Tusculum’s 600+ student-athletes competing in 25 NCAA sports while providing the opportunity to gain experience as an entry level Certified Athletic Trainer. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a dynamic, 10-person Athletic Training staff.

Primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program and performing other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. Sport responsibilities may include Football/Softball, and/or Cross Country/Softball, and/or Football/Tennis.  Final primary sport responsibility will be determined during the interview process and will be based on experience. Some team travel as well as night, weekend, and holiday work will be required.

This position will be 30 hour/week for 37 weeks from approximately August 5th to May 15th and may be renewed for an additional year. These will be considered part time positions.
