Campus Visit Coordinator/In-House Admission Representative

DESCRIPTION:

The Campus Visit Coordinator/In-House Admission Representative is responsible for implementing and coordinating a successful, robust campus visit program. Also responsible for hiring and training President Society members and providing full support of the Office of Admission in recruitment activities and duties to include current Dual Enrollment students to become full-time enrolled students. Coordinate, assist and schedule all daily campus visits, tours and meetings with prospective students, to include meetings with academic offices, athletic offices and financial aid offices as requested by the student. Coordinate and assist with admission sponsored events such as Open Houses, Preview Days, Sophomore Pioneer Preview Days, and Advance Registration Days. Recruit and market the College to prospective students ·through telecounseling, campus visits, personal representative communications. Attend college fairs/nights and make individual visits to high schools and community colleges, as needed. This may include overnight travel. Focus on continued recruitment of Dual Enrollment students, in order to increase percentage enrolling as full-time freshmen. Maintains statistics of daily visitors to Tusculum College. Compiles information into monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Enrollment Management

Tusculum College’s Office of Enrollment is seeking applications for a full-time Executive Assistant. This position will assist the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Marketing (VPEMM) on research and reporting, manage the schedule, travel and other administrative responsibilities. Other responsibilities include maintaining the Enrollment Management electronic calendar. This position also provides customer service to individuals calling in person or by telephone; answers general questions or requests, and refers others to appropriate staff members. Provides counseling to families and students about Tusculum degree programs; how to apply for admission; types of services available; deadlines and costs/financial aid. Assist students with the admission application process being sure to advise them of deadlines and missing/required credentials. Performs daily clerical duties such as answering phones, receiving and distributing daily mail, filing, and operating various office machines.

Counselor and ADA Coordinator

Tusculum Colleges is seeking applicants for a Counselor and ADA Coordinator. This Counselor serves as the College’s primary on-campus resource for supporting the psychological and emotional well-being of students. Reporting to the Dean of Students, the Counselor provides scheduled and walk-in counseling services, is on-call at other hours for student mental health emergencies, and ensures that all Tusculum practices comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The Counselor plans, implements, and evaluates mental health counseling services; develops and delivers mental health education programs; initiates and maintains professional relationships between public, civic, professional, voluntary, and individual mental health care providers in the area, region, and country; coordinates with other college professionals responsible for student support and crisis intervention; and serves as appropriate on emergency response teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselor Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a closely related discipline required. Current Licensure to practice as a professional counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC/MHSP) required. Experience as a university or college mental health counselor or experience working with young adults strongly preferred.

Facilities Management II

Telecounselors

DESCRIPTION:

The Office of Admission is currently seeking applications for three telecounseling positions that will work evenings 16-20 hours per week. The primary responsibility is to represent Tusculum by contacting prospective students of the College to educate them about scholarship opportunities and other important aspects of the admission process. This position requires the individual to sit for long periods at a time and wear a headset. The hours are Monday –Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, occasional weekend work may be required.

The anticipated start date is October 17, 2017; review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

The candidate for this position should have previous office experience and strong data-entry skills with the ability to multi-task. Articulate oral communications skills and customer service skills are mandatory. Assistant or Associate Professor of the Athletic Training Education Program

Tusculum College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of the Athletic Training/Athletic trainer. This is a full-time faculty position with primary responsibilities in teaching athletic training courses and providing athletic trainer duties in the athletic department; service to the College and community; and scholarly/professional development.  Additional responsibilities include academic instruction/supervision of athletic training students and assisting the program director in maintaining compliance with CAATE accreditation standards and providing athletic training duties for athletic.  Faculty members are to be committed to excellence in teaching. Faculty members are expected to contribute toward the good of the College through the maintenance of expertise in the discipline, and sharing time and talents with the larger College community.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited college or university, current BOC certification, and hold a current and unencumbered license, or be eligible for licensure, as an athletic trainer in the State of Tennessee.  Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training and prior teaching experience.
